Pay: $22.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

The Base File Home Loan Specialist is an entry level role supporting various Channels. As a Home Loan Specialist, you will act as a key contributor to facilitate efficient and effective processes that support business and customer service objectives.

The Base File Loan Specialist will:

• Perform routine data entry and validation tasks
• Initiate third party orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood cert, credit, etc.)
• Review and validate loan documents
• Handle routine calls, emails and/or chat responses
• Monitor work queues and intervene as needed
• Interact with multiple departments to expedite processing and/or issue resolution
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
• Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values

Qualifications:

• Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment
• Capable communicator, written and oral
• Demonstrated proficiency with computers and mainstream computer applications (Microsoft, Google, etc.)
• Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
• General understanding of applicable Federal, State and Local regulations
